Rosie

Rosie aptly named for her forever blushed cheeks, helps on her Father’s farm during harvest time. The midday sun kisses her neck, so she crawls under the hay cart with Peter the farm hand, who slips her some homemade cider when Papa is not around. It does make her head spin though.

Penelope slips secretly into the Manor house. The old lady who lives there, is confined to her bed. She tiptoes down the corridors, to the huge dusty library, where she devours books; which until Penelope came along have been left unread for years. Secretly the old lady knows she visits.

Willow loves the moon, at night she slips from her house to watch it reflect on the lake. Willow is not always alone as a small fox joins her. Each night he gets a little bit closer.

Violette

Violette spends the summer living in the hills of Provence. You can hear when she is nearby, by the ringing of bells around the goat's neck and her singsong. She has to keep her goats safe from wolfs, she does though have Remy her mountain dog to keep her warm at night.

Sorrel

Sorrel told Mr Grayson, the school Headmaster, she was very sorry for breaking Davy Lloyd finger in the school locker, but his proposition had been very inappropriate.
